Auroras is a large continent divided into two main landmasses. The Northlands lies to the north-west of the Mosslands, and is the smaller of the two main landmasses.

Auroras is populated by seven independent peoples, four of which refer to themselves as the Hishar. This term comes from the old Drasyil, literally meaning "bloodline" or "clan".
