This site hosts two games, both created by Benji. The first, and the site's namesake, is the Blaf RPG system. The second is a card game called Yopigon.

Current World(s)
Our current story revolves around two distinct sets of characters in (apparently) two very different worlds. The first world has the swords and sorcery stylings of the Yala world (with the four playable races being Panu, Chaeri, Aoun Tao, and Idori) and the second world based around New England set in the 1980's. The notable characters at the moment are:
- Aku - one of the last Chaeri Gaeomancers, Aku is travelling the world, trying to find others of his kind.
- Ayame - a Valkyrie of Thule who has run away from the haven to try and find adventure at the war front.
- Xyzzy - an outcast Panu with a taste for silver and an odd name.
- Xule - a shaman prodigy from one of the outlying Panu villages who is headed to the war front to confront an old friend.
- Genghis Stevenson - A schizophrenic sleuth who owns a detective agency and converses fluently with inanimate objects.
- Adrian Burns - A gumshoe with extraordinary senses and a fear of bacteria.
- Midori Payne - A crime-solving businesswoman who violently rejects the laws of time.
- (Sheera) - The ex-Queen of Hearts of a powerful gang in the city of Albedo.
- The Incarnation of Pestilence
- The Incarnation of Famine
Survival Tree Reinstated
After much pondering, the Survival base attribute tree has been reinstated in the LBlaf. This tree will govern things such as street lore, herbalism, awareness, and finding shelter.
Thoughts after playtesting...
Perhaps a sort of bastard child of systems could be created by mincing several of the previous blafs together. Ultimately, the goal of the Blaf is to create an entirely simple and fun gaming system. To this end we have minimized rules lawyering and armor calculations, instead choosing to focus the story on elements like intrigue and character interaction. Perhaps a final system will involve 5 or 6 base attributes (refined, of course, from its predecessors) each of which will have 8 or so different specializations. We are currently still debating whether or not it should be allowable to specialize in the same area more than once, which could theoretically bring a dice pool to 12, if that was the only area of specialty and was chosen 4 times (i.e. each time a rank in that attribute was gained). Using the mark system this often results in huge critical successes and/or the ability to avoid failure altogether. Whether or not this is desirable is yet to be seen.
Revisions, Revisions
As you all know, the Blaf is constantly being updated. After a few test sessions with the current playgroup, We have decided to shift the attribute categories such that they may be more in accordance with the typical actions for the group. I did this by giving the playtesters seven very broad skills and allowing them to come up with specialities for themselves. The new system is called LBlaf, though it will still be using the KBlaf engine.
